Jaunts

Jaunts is the ultimate adventure for your pup! Designed for small groups, this 4-5 hour session is packed with fun and enrichment, ensuring your dog comes home happy and tired. Activities include group walks, off-leash play, basic group training, and plenty of socialization with other friendly pups. We’ll visit nearby parks, fields, beaches, and wooded trails for a variety of stimulating environments.

Extended Care

For those who need longer hours of care, our extended care service ensures your dog has everything they need throughout the day, every day—playtime, walks, meals, and naps. Born out of a deep love for animals and inspired by a special pup named Duke, our mission is to provide exceptional care and fun experiences for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. With years of experience handling a variety of personalities and behavioral needs, we’ve created a safe and loving environment where every dog can thrive.

Our founder’s journey began with Duke, a rescue American Pittie mix who had his own unique set of challenges. Duke taught us the power of patience, unconditional love, and the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs. Through his legacy, we’re committed to making sure no dog is left behind—whether they’re shy, energetic, or need a little extra attention.

At Duke’s Day Out, we specialize in solo and group walks, boarding, play groups, and extended care. Our small-group Play Group is perfect for pups who love to socialize and play, while our solo walks cater to dogs who prefer one-on-one attention. When your pet stays with us for boarding, we offer a home away from home filled with love, care, and plenty of cuddles.

How do I book a service?

You can conveniently book our services through our website via your member portal each week or by contacting your walker directly. Simply provide your preferred date, time, and the type of service you’re interested in, and we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule. Please note that your booking will be confirmed only after you have signed a service agreement, which will be sent to you upon submitting your initial meet and greet should you decide to use our services. A formal booking confirmation will follow once the signed agreement is received.
What is the difference between solo and group walks?

Solo walks are one-on-one sessions where your dog gets personalized attention and exercise based on their specific needs. Group walks, on the other hand, are small, structured outings with other dogs of similar temperament and size, allowing for socialization in a safe, supervised environment.
How does your boarding service work?

Our boarding service offers a cozy, home-like environment where your dog will feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We provide plenty of playtime, treats, and affection, making sure your pet feels at home. We only board a small number of dogs at a time, so each one gets individual attention.
What is extended care?

Extended care is perfect for pet owners who need full-day or multi-day services. Whether you have a long workday, special plans, or are going on vacation we’ll ensure your dog has everything it needs—playtime, walks, meals, and rest—throughout the day. They’ll be happy, entertained, and ready for when you return!
How do I know my dog will be safe in a group setting?

We carefully assess each dog’s temperament before placing them in a group setting to ensure compatibility. Our small-group Play Groups are designed to provide a fun, safe environment where dogs can socialize with others of similar energy levels and personalities. All group interactions are closely monitored by to ensure safety and enjoyment for all.
Do you accommodate special needs dogs?

It depends. We understand that some dogs may have unique needs, whether behavioral or medical, and we are happy to work with you to provide the right care. Please let us know any special requirements, and we will do our best to tailor our services to make sure your dog is comfortable and well-cared for.
